  • Making No Progress Whatsoever

So the other day, I bought the Yamaha NP30. It hasn't been very long since I bought it, but mannn, playing the piano is hard. I'm making no progress whatsoever.

It sounds nice, but I really don't want to learn the basics. I just want to jump onto playing some beautiful songs and getting some girls.

    Pathetic? Maybe. Dedicated? Yes.

  • Yamaha NP30

The Casio PX-130 is somewhat out of my budget. I'm just a student so I'm only really willing to spend 200 bucks or so. Don't judge me! I'm broke. But it seems like I can't get a good enough digital piano for that price. :( Sadness.

There is the Yamaha NP30 though, which costs around $300 with tax. It's the cheapest digital piano reviewed on the site so far. I watched the video, and it sounds beautiful to me. Buuut I'm no pro. Personally, I probably won't care too much about the "feel" of the piano or whatever. I care primarily about the sound, and this piano sounds just as great as some of the higher models that cost $500. The Yamaha NP30 and the Yamaha P85 use the same sound samples. Awesomeeee.

I think I've finally found the piano I'm looking for. Watch out girls. Get ready to fall in love with...the digital piano maestro.

Just kidding. I'm still a newb.

  • Casio Privia PX-130

Thinking about buying it. Whaddya think? I was reading this PX-130 review. It sounds like something I would want. I'm not sure about the plastic or whatever, but as long as it sounds like a piano and I look awesome, it should be ok.

    According to the reviewer, it...

    • is portable
    • sounds nice
    • has 128-polyphony or w/e
    • has features that allows you to learn faster

Seems like a good choice to me. It has other reviews so I'll be checking it out. I don't want to blow money if it's not going to make me look awesome. Yea.

  • You guys probably think that I'm doing this out of whim. No, I'm really going to purchase a piano. Got any tips on how to play?

I looked at some youtube videos, and I think the first song that I learn will be something like this:

Whatever it takes to get the chick. Don't judge me!

  • Why I Decided to Learn to Play the Piano

Yesterday, I was hanging out with some cute girls. They were raving about how playing the piano makes guys soooo hot. When it comes to cute girls, I'm a chump. Yes, I am going to buy a piano.

I found this Digital Piano Review site the other day so I've been checking it out. Real pianos are too expensive so I think I'll stick with digital ones.

It's pretty interesting so far. He put up a guide to help me decide what I should buy. Yep. Going to spend hundreds of bucks for some girls.
